Packing up day for George and Veronica as they fly back to melbourne at 5.30 today while we party on........ Decided on a tour out to New Norfolk as I remembered it as very old town and we are staying there on our way to Strahan after out fishing trip. Sadly it is a very tired town and as it was very cold and wet we didnt feel like exploring. In fact the only historical building I remembered had burnt down as I discovered a cutting in a very old news cutting at the local information building. So next a decent coffee found a gourmet coffee shop and it was fine, beans roasted in Hobart and called black velvet.
We finally had to say farewell to our travelling buddies so in rememberance of the fun times we just had to go back to our lovely unit in the bush and 'salute' them with a nice bottle of wine. So just to let you know G&V just in case your plane flew out late we kept on saluting every plane that flew over till 10 to 7 when we started saluting your arrival....lol
Most memorable moment: Rain pelting down outside the cafe and read in paper the town known for car theft and Alan checking his keys and finding he left them in the car.
