Good sleep even braved a shower. Then back towards Hobart. I was not looking forward to the next hour of the high rough seas as it took some holding on. Mary was sitting out on the deck and her chair collapsed under her and she had a nasty bruise and cuts. We rolled sideways and up and down with some solid thumps. Alan did a few side stepping in on roll. But once around the south cape and left the west side of tasmania we then began surfing along on I rekon 6 metre swells sometimes the boat was pointing towards the sky straight up but it was much easier to cope with. Headed into new harbour and arrived about 11.30 took both dingies off and went and put out some cray pots. It was a reasonable swell but dropped them with fingers crossed (but did no good out of 6 pots only one cray)
Another front was coming through again. Adam cooked hamburgers to build up our spirits I rekon because then he took us out in those seas for the next 3 hours to trawl for blue fin tuna. It was a wild and rocky adventure but at least Graham caught one and Lindsay lost two. By this time our captain is feeling bad as cant go fishing for trumpeter and not much in the way of other fish or crays
Of course the night was also wild and wooly and Adam and scotty were up twice as the anchor was moving and the rope broke and there was some crashing and lots of noise. It was amazing how we all slept but it wasnt too bad.
Most memorable moment: Dragging anchor about 2am and 3am breaking the anchor support rope and imagining us floating out to sea
