After a lazy breakfast we decided on Huonville for the days touring so of course we missed the turnoff and went through Kingston then down to Tinderbox which was a beautiful little bay and a lovely drive. Then off to Snug for some scallop pies but instead found a "books for sale" sign and after one hour and quite a few boxes of books later we headed to snug but only to find that there were no hot scallop pies so we ended up at a little cafe called Rosie's where she made us a stir fry with mussels fish calamari and prawn and very nice it was too. The coffee was okay but not memorable
We by this time had missed the turnoff again to Huonville but eventually made our way to the town and promptly drove straight through it. Luckily we did because we were heading for Franklin and the Boat Building Centre and it closed at 4pm so we managed to have a good look before it closed. Veronica and Alan were probably more keen on this than George and I but we were happy enough browsing around. Then back to Hobart going straight through Huonville again.
Again more beer and Chardonnay with a smorgasbord of yummy seafood - what a life
Most memorable moment: Definitely the glee on George's face finding all these great books for only a $1 each.

Lyn Hutton Sounds like you're having a fab time. I love the way you comment on the food, beer and wine with all your blogs (I'm the same-it's important right???). Reading your blog is making me want to go back to Tassie again!
