Headed towards Ross the next morning, it is very historical dates back to early 1800 with convict womens prison site. Next Oatlands (where alan recalls doing the plumbing on the local pub yahoo he hasn't lost it he can still remember events over 35 years ago).
Arrived Hobart 11am hasnt changed very much. Went to our old police house at Windermere which is near the Cadbury's factory (tempting....). Called to say hi to our neighbour Margy who still remembered us.
Then headed out to pick up George and Veronica at Hobart airport. While we were waiting found a local oyster restaurant so had a plate of 30 oysters between us and a very nice coffee.
Our time share unit is at 7 mile beach and is surrounded with lovely native flora and is a stone throw from the beach. It is very nice and has two bedrooms lounge kitchen bathroom and lovely enclosed patio and is very modern and plenty of room.
Loaded up at the local safeway and home for a beer and nice chardonnay.
Most memorable moment: Eating oysters overlooking the bay at Barilla's Oysters
