Friday
We caught one cray overnight so bit of a low for us all as we were hoping for another big feed but then left New Harbour and aimed for an anchor at Recherche bay which is a beautiful harbour opposite the bottom of Bruny Island.
The ride was not as bad as I was worrying about as mostly surfing and not much bumping. Toasted crayfish sandwiches for lunch which were surprisingly nice.
Of course then Adam decided we needed more fish so he took up trawling for Tuna again so back out into the weather again for another 3 hours.
Lindsay caught his tuna which we could keep. Then everyone had a go but they had to release all other catchs as only allowed two tuna per boat. I was glad to finish up for the day and to go back in to the bay. Adam had a roast planned for us for tea and the smell was yummy. Normally it would be more fish but we weren't catching them.
Most memorable moment: Alan standing at the bow of the boat his hair blowing in the wind his 5 day old white beard and his cheesy grin andhaving the time of his life fishing for tuna
