Having cooked for myself for the last 3 nights I decide to eat out at a local restaurant that the patron had recommended as being not too expensive. I thought it was slightly over the odds but then you think: I had a large pression of THB, my favourite, which came with a small bowl of olives and a plate of mixed nuts. Wanting to get over duck scratchings I went safe with half a chicken cooked over a wood fire with green beans and boiled then fried small potatoes. £4.80 isn't bad I suppose.
I am going to check in with the doctor I have been emailing tomorrow at 9.00 then I'm teaching (or rather they are writing a tourist guide to Tanna) so I think I will try the £2 all in breakfast here tomorrow to see if it's as good as the Brajas which kept me going until 7 pm.

Peter K Very food centred this blog - when are we going to see pictures - appreciate this is techno step you may not be rteady to take yet + camera obviously missing at moment - one on mobile phone? Sorry forgot you won't have one!!! Also do you want any suggestions for geography lessons?Peter Did Geography today in the form of a personalised Guide Book to Madagascar. The best part was towards the end when I asked them all to stand up and point to Mondorave which is due west. 8 in the class, 8 fingers pointing in 8 different directions. Mind you they had been writing for most of the 90 minutes. And now I've got to mark their work before next Tuesday.
