This morning we woke up and played with Trenton. He has grown so much! He is a real person now. Independent, opinionate, and a smart ass just like his mother. MB and I went to the bike shop near by to get her bike fixed for Jason's return trip.
We then headed to the San Diego Zoo. It is a very nice Zoo. Clean, but expensive. Over $40 per person. It was crowded but not annoying. We saw tigers at play, baby cheetas, baby giarraffes, and monkeys. the zoo is really hilly. It was pretty warm and as expected in California they ahd micro brews available at the zoo, with a complimentary aroma of weed.
We met Ryan outside the zoo and went to coronado brewery. MB and I split a pitcher of Frogs Breath IPA. After dinner we went to the landing which is where the ferries and ships come into port. This area is filled with a bunch of high end shops. We stopped at Coronado Tastes of Oil is located but when we showed up the door was just locked. We convinced her with the sweet smell of cash to let us in. After sampling and Trenton wasting a 1/4 cup of balsalmic vinigrette we walked out with three bottles.
Next stop was the two square challenge at the house while we waited for the sun to set. This game was invented in the school yards of the west coast. It is similar to tennis, and very fun. We played until sunset.
