Today started with the cleansing of Subey. 5600 miles of dirt caked on every surface. I washed every panel twice. Subey deserves a full detail when I return home. Trenton had a doctors appointment so I had solitude to work on my car. The first time in 20 days so it was appreciated. I also went through the photos and cleaned them up a bit. I have not figured out my favorites yet, but I am a step closer.
Upon Heather and trentons return I was washing my bike. This led to washing Heather car, and consequently aunt Kim. I received a subjective 'golden shower' from my nephew. After an hour of trying tow ash Heathers mini car it was time for the beach.
Coronado beach is clean with fine white sand. The water has gold flecks that move with the water because of an element called 'Mica'. The ocean water receeding looked like the flecks in the bottom of a goldenschlauger bottle. The problem is the air temp (68) was only 3 degrees warmer than the water temp. We searched for shells and sand dollars. I am now $2 richer.
We returned to the house and Heather made dinner. Artichokes, chicken drumsticks and mac n cheese. The Artichokes were stuffed with garlic and baked instead of steamed. Very good.
Heather and I headed to the mall and went into MAC to buy my wedding makeup. Lots of uppity b****es in this place. We were unfortunatly helped by the lead manager who gave the most watered down customer service. $200 and an hour and a half later we left with my new face. Another $50 at origins for moisturizer then off to pick up Jason. Jason's flight landed before schedule and it was great to see time after being away from each other for 20 days. I could feel my heart and soul smile when I spotted him on the platform. I love that man.
We stopped and picked up a sixpack of ballast point IPA to enjoy while showing Jason the pictures from the trip thus far. I am looking forward to the return trip with Jason. Its going to be a whole different type of fun!
