After 17 days on the road MB finally got her perfect relaxing camp morning. I made sure of it. We had a camp site at crystal springs that waas surrounded by giant Sequious. Very cool breakfast spot. The Mariposa Grove contains a section of redwoods and 'the giant grizzley', but after seeing Jeddi Smith we were kind of disappointed. the 'GG' was huge, and we did see the tunnel tree but overall this grove was destroyed by years of excessive foot traffic. We get back in the car and head south to leave the park. On the way out we stopped at washburn and glacier point. This is what made yosemite awesome for me. The Yosemite valley was about two hours from where we camped which put us in the heart of the valley at about noon. The valley is the land of people. People are everywhere from all nationalities and races. We even saw four black faces. We were preped for a true hike and what we are learning about our parks is a double edged sword. We woke up and had breakfast on this cute little cafe in San Fran. We reloaded the biked onto the car, and headed across the Bay Bridge towards Yosemite.
