Day 83 Everton Park, Brisbane
A storm has been building all day, yet not one drop has fallen yet; it better start raining soon as this heat is unbearable to go to sleep in. Don't really want to shock Darcy and Brad in the morning, walking through to the shower in just my undies :P
63 Forrest Street now has its very own pet possum, which has taken up residence in the gutter out on the deck. Came back from bargain hunting at Crazy Clark's discount store to find Rosemaree up a ladder, waving carrot along the gutter edge! We even managed to get a picture of it which showed it to be a young infant :D Brad, forever thinking of my vertebrate biology animal behaviour experiment, said he had kept a record of its behaviour since it moved in this afternoon. So far, his sneaky observation had uncovered:
2pm-4.30pm sleep
4.30pm sniff sniff... 10 seconds later, fart
4.31pm - 5pm sleep LOL
Sadly, Brad missed the possum's departure for its night time crawling along all the telephone wires but it was sometime around 6pm as he went it for his pre-dinner cup of tea :D
Due to the predicted storm, the markets are cancelled tomorrow, where Brad and Rosemaree sell their antiques every week. Everything stops here when it rains lol! I was excited to go and help out, mainly to see the crazy customers Rosemaree had described, but am grateful that the 3.30am start can be delayed a week!
