I signed up for study abroad thinking it was a great way to get to Australia with a bit of money and a plan of what to do once arrived. If I'm honest, I just wanted to travel and see the sights and during the first two weeks, actual studying seemed a waste of my time - of time that could be spent sunbathing, bushwalking and partying :P

I also came out with the intention to write everyday about things i had done, people i had met and the amazing sights i would see, if i ever peeled my body from by beach towel! After a hectic two months, with many course troubles, budgeting issues and scary biology practicals, things have finally calmed down enough for me to update you all properly, in addition to the thousands of photos i have already posted (yes, i really am glued to my camera :P)

So here goes... It's sunday 12th september 2010, already over 2 months into my year studying abroad and already I am so different from the person who bounced through Heathrow back in June... and i want to capture every amazing moment! Of course, I hope you're all jealous... and mum, i hope you miss me(!) but this blog is as much for me as it is for everyone 'up above' :)
