Hey!

So how're things going for everyone? I am spending my last day at work before turnover... that means that I will be off from 8pm tonight until 11pm next monday!! I am so excited. We (the whole of ODL) have rented a house (complete with hot tub.. yay!) by a lake called deep creek. We get to eat proper food, swim, go climbing.. for 3 days! Sorry, may be over excited about this.

So, since I left this I've been quite busy. I possibly chpiped/fractured my kneecap about 2 weeks ago, which has been a bit of a pain. Of course no one is surprised, cause this is me and falling over is what I do. The bruise is still as big now as it was 2 weeks ago. Ironically, despite all this outdoors stuff I've been doing, I fell over when I was roller skating. Zooming along quite happily, realised I did not know how to stop, took out a kid and fell with both our weight on my knee. Good times! I know you'll all be proud. So this week that's been a bit of a pain as I've been hiking and caving, but I've made it work.

Two days running I had NUTS, and I took them on a hike to pen mar park, which is maybe a half mile away. From there we went down the hill to the creek, where the kids can paddle and there are rocks you can rub together to make face paint. They enjoyed that. We cooked in the park and camped out. The second night was really bad cause we had vry young ones. They woke me up a total of 9 times! The worst ones being simply "I can't sleep".. well, now neither can I. Yesterday I had a night cave. I was really pleased because I actually led a lot of it this time (still cant believe I can do that) so I felt like I'd accomplished something. I had to go on my back on the narrow bits, because I couldn't put my knee down! I looked ridiculous.

I got to lie in this morning because I'd had a night cave and we work from 6 till midnight on those. So I had a lovely lie in till just after 9, a late breakfast and now I'm ready to go. Have to clean up our office etc today before we leave, but other than that... Deep Creek here we come! :-)
