Well first of all, I am once again extremely jealous. Second of all, Josh is coming out to see you today so you get my present, don't get too excited, it is small and very random (but what else would you expect from me) and third of all (even though I don't think that's gramatically correct) WOW. Everything sounds absolutely incredible. You must have had the most amazing time, I can't believe all the crazy amazing things you've done.

I especially liked the bit about the horse, I laughed because I imagined you walking round like an idiot afterwards and it made me laugh. Oh and the bit where a buffalo walked out in front of you, made me think of the time in Scotland where that massive highland cow stopped in the middle of the road, although, I think buffalo are bigger aren't they?

I'm glad that you're gaining good life experience like if you go in the desert you need water, nice one. Idiot. ;)

I bet you're really excited about Josh coming to see you. Kinda wish it was me instead of him but he'll have to for now. I still get to see you when you come home in less that two weeks. I know you're probably not looking forward to it but I am, I'm done with you being away now, I want to spend more than a day with you before you go back to uni but I have realised that having three jobs might get in the way of this!!!

Anyway, enjoy the rest of your time away!!!!!!!! Say hello to Auntie B for me and have a swim in the pool! Oh and take Josh to the CN tower and go on the glass floory thing. Don't chicken out!

Hello Luce how are you getting on?? I miss you a lot i can't belive you are in America!!! Have you been to any nice places yet? When you wrote to Chlo on here the other day you said that the children were flying with the aid of helium Balloons!!! I actually couldn't beleive that! Are you coming back into cornwall for a bit? Sorry I haven't been in touch since July but we have been so busy with the B&B and with arranging tennis matches, (we started in April and still have 1 more match to go).

Sounds like you had a wounderful time at camp and still the adventures go on. Chloe showed me the schedule of your road trip, looks like you are going to overtake me with the amount of states that you visit. We have been to 17 so far. I also see that you have, or will be visitng some of the places we have been to, like Badland NP, Mount Ruhmore, Wall Drug, Yellowstone and Yosemite, it brought back some fantastic memories and will be good to talk about your experiences of these places when you get back. As well as the places that you have visited and I haven't yet.

Have a great roadtrip and look forward to hearing all about it.

Hey smelly :) Have just read your blog and I am more jealous than I have been so far.......you made children fly! I want to do it. We should so try it when you get home. Jean still has a few canisters of helium, let's get on it! Everything sounds amazing, but I still want to see some photos! Especially of Baltimore harbour, it sounds beautiful.

I texted Josh yesterday and he's gonna bring you something from me when he comes to see you :D don't worry it's not anything horrible, it's actually quite nice. I think he's quite excited about seeing you, I can't think why tbh, it's not like it's anything special. Lol jokes. I am pretty jealous that he gets to come with you and go to Canada and to see Auntie B. Oh well, I'll just have to wait to see you when you get back and we can go out on the town together for the first time :D

Your rock climbing skills sound amazing, but next time you go can you get someone to film it please cos I could really do with a laugh! ;) Anyway...best go cos I'm with Ellie and I'm being a bit antisocial. We've just had the best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, I made it! Yum.

Glad to hear you've stopped puking-congrats on being able to throw up in every single country you visit. It's impressive. Just thought I'd pop on and say hi, I'm currently sat with Mother who is doing her best to sing along to 'True Colours' it's like bliss to my ears.

You're trekking skills are also impressive, I am going to have to start exercising again or you're gonna have bigger muscles than me! In fact, I don't think it'll come close to becoming a contest! I did play tennis with Maz yesterday but it wasn't that strenuous. Lol.

Omg.......guess what I just did. I just changed the tyres on my car! Are you impressed. Oh well, I don't care if you are or not, I am! I can officially change tyres. WOOOOO. I know you've learnt to do way more stuff than me but we can't all be perfect!!! You are pretty damn special though. I hope you don't get ill or break anything else. You complete wally!!!

Thanks for all the messages everyone. It's nice to have messages from home to read. I am going on a hike this afternoon. I already hiked it this morning to make sure I knew the way, so by tonight I will be hiked out. It's good fun though, got to love exercising in insane heat. Much love xx

Right, now I'm home from work and have a minute, I will write to you properly so prepare yourself for another essay!!

Basically, I hate you. I am so unbelievably jealous of you and your little deep creek house. However, I did go to my friend Ben's house the other day and he has a massive garden looking out over fields and down to the coast and he has a hot tub in his garden and we went in it for two hours and then we watched Night at the Museum 2: the battle of the Smithsonian. How bizzarre. I can't believe you went there...I want to go.

And congratulations on your knee fracture, you had to do something stupid but seriously, roller skating? The word 'idiot' springs to mind, although, I did actually laugh out loud at the bit where you said you 'took some kid out'...made my day!!!

So things that have been happening...well a lot has happened here since you left. Been so busy. Quit my job down at Trevone, working in Thoughts and Afterthoughts now. And for Auntie Deb, which is really fun :) Been working quite a bit and then just seeing friends really which has been cool. Having such a good summer so far, really chilled and fun...loving every minute. I did a drama workshop at Trevisker the other day which was really fun albeit slightly crazy...they had so much energy, I know you'll understand how I feel as you're spending 24 hours a day with them but it was slightly mental but yeah, very good. I was absolutely terrified to begin with but it ended up being quite fun. I wasn't alone either, my two friends from college did it with me.

In other news...there isn't really much to report to be honest, I seem to be busy all the time and never at home, Mum seemed a bit gutted to begin with but I'm pretty sure she's planning what to do with my room now she realises I'm not gonna be around forever. Lol. Only joking, she misses you loads, as do we all :D Anyway...I have a bit more to tell you but it might require private messaging.

Dear Lucy,

From what Dad and Jane have told us, it sounds as if you're having a whale of a time! Bring home loads of photos for us to see.

Now I'm home and virtually back to normal I can tell you that I've been in Treliske for just over two weeks!!! I had an appendix operation, then another op four days later - nothing at all major. I had an en-suite room!!!

The Morphine made me really high. One night Grandad came down to see me with Dad and Jane, then Chloe turned up. She was in fits when I told her I had been listening to an american marching band that had been playing in the car park!!!!

Dad was saying that youd like to return to America next year. You're getting well travelled! Enjoy yourself!
