Hi everyone! I'm writing from the social hall in camp airy, where I am attempting to sit for an hour making sure kids don't run of together into the woods... I kid you not. Apparently the boy-girl mixers can end badly! So I have an hour to sit by myself. Not great fun. But it gives me time to get in touch again.

The night cave went really well. We had a great bunch of kids, and they had a really good time. I keep falling over. I knew exactly where the big hole in the cave was, but I still put my leg straight through it. Luckily I grabbed on to a rock, or the rest of me would have followed on! We had all camp colour games for two days, which involved four teams of different colours, doing a load of games.. think sports day. This week I'm going on a camping trip with the ABCs, the youngest units.

We had a great time off, we went to a house and had a bit of a party on friday night, then on saturday morning we went to a place called beaver dam, kind of near baltimore. We swam in the lake all day (50 foot deep, so good way to exercuse trading water) and there were big rope swims, diving platforms etc. It was my first time off since I came to camp, so I was glad to have it. Today is independefest (think independence day) so we have a big watre slide down a hill, water fights, bouncy castles, arts, music etc and tonight we're having cookout and fireworks. It's going to be fun. ODL are in charge of the water slide so I'm soaking, but quite grateful for it as it's insanely hot. Anyway, better start working properly. Lots of love to you all xxx
