Today we went to the Iningai Nature Reserve. It's located on the outskirts of Longreach. We did the Coolibah walking track. Was a nice walk that took you around the gin gin river. Afterwards we went to the Longreach markets. Lots of tea cosies and scones - good to see the CWA is going strong is outback Qld. We then headed east from Longreach to Ilsfricombe. Interesting little town. There is a big machinery museum as you come into the town with machines lining the street for half a kilometre. The town also has some historic pioneering houses which are set up as they would have been a century ago. We stopped in at the Wellshot Hotel which is a pub from 1890 and named after one of the largest stations from the area and had a drink. The afternoon was spent relaxing in the sun before heading to the Woolshed Restaurant for dinner and a game or three of pool. Next stop: Lake Maraboon - Emerald
