I can't believe its only been a week since I've been here.. it feels like we've been here forever and we have done so much already. Today we woke up early to head out and kayak up on the northeast coast.. it was intense kayaking. we were riding in about 10 foot rolling swells and it was a lot of work and we got drenched but it was cool... definately an adventure.. we have had a busy week.. we went to the beach yesterday but its so cold here because it is just the begining of spring so only 3 of us swam (me being one of them of course).. we're starting classes this upcoming week which should be interesting but its awesome because we've been doing a lot of travelling and hiking around and seeing the country so its been really fun... next weekend we get to go caving too which should be AMAZING!.. new zealand is a gorgeous place, its definately cool... there is only a small group of us here because 7 people from the phillipines couldn't get visas to come so there is only about 12 students and about 10 other students/staff persons... there is also some families that live on the base which is fun too... the base is really cool and is in a great location bout a 20 min drive from a big town and 20 min from a great beach... and endless area to roam all around... anyways i think we may be going to watch a movie or have a fire or something so i'm outta here.. hope you enjoy the pictures... until next time hope everything is great Korey Leafblad
