The fourth day we drove to Cooktown, famous for James Cook.
It was an old town not very busy and again everything was really spaced out.
Ended up finding a lady who cut my hair for $15 (£9) bargain and then we set off back to the roadhouse where we stayed the night before.
On the way back we saw tons of wallabies wandering onto the road at one point had to do an emergency stop and everything in the back came flying forward…..couldn't stop laughing , no one was hurt.
However about 40km away from the roadhouse the lights on the dashboard started to flash at first a few times and then they stayed on constantly. I knew something wasn't right as I could hear the engine make a funny noise that I hadn't heard but didn't think too much of it.
Couldn't do anything until the morning so just chilled at the Roadhouse and hoped the lights would sort themselves out over night.
