Happiness Is The Road
It had been a very wet and windy night. After brekky we set off to Busselton to get some food from Woolies. As we drove out of Yallingup we could see that the sea was raging. We decided that it would be great to go back to Canal Rocks and see how wild it was there today. It was extremely wild. The swell was right up and the wind was powerfully blasting huge waves against the rocks and shore. In between the showers we scrambled up to a good vantage point and swaying about in the wind we got some great photos. It was awesome. After this and with the rain now pelting down we drove a little further up the coast to Injidup Beach where we got a brilliant view over to Canal Rocks. It was great to see it from this angle. We got there just in time as within minutes a mist descended completely shrouding the view. We decided that we'd come back here another day when hopefully it isn't raining. We left Injidup with torrential rain being blown in swathes across the road. We continued our journey to Busselton in wet and windy conditions. We stocked up in Woolies and then headed back to the caravan park where we holed up all snug and cosy and chilled for the rest of the day.
