After a little sleep-in I was up doing some yoga and enjoying the beautiful Santiago weather. As it was Sunday Kelly and Vero had a sleep-in and didn't really have anything planned for the day. In the afternoon we visited a local fresh fruit and vegetable market and it was really cool with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables at a fraction of the cost of the local supermarkets. As I already had brought lots of vegetables yesterday and only had two days left in Santiago there was no need for me to buy anything. In the evening I went for a nice walk around there suburbs as during the day it was far to hot at 32 degrees to even consider going for a walk. For dinner Kelly had brought a Chilean traditional dish known as Humitas: corn mashed up with finely chopped onion, basil and a little olive oil wrapped in the corn leafs and then boiled slowly - it was incredibly good and has to be my favorite Chilean dish so far. After dinner Kelly and Vero went to bed early so I watched a film and did my best to cool off from today's extreme heat.
