After not a lot of sleep I was up early as the other Couchsurfers had to catch a taxi at 5:30am and seen as I was sleeping in the living-room it was inevitable that I got woken up when they left. I had hoped to get onto selling a heap of my stuff today but unfortunately the Internet was out so instead I organized a few things and around lunch went to the mall to buy a few things to make dinner for the guys tonight. Another Couchsurfer who is about to start the Torres del Paine hike tommorow had heard I was selling my backpack and came around to look in the late afternoon. He ended up taking my backpack, cover and thermos and the good thing I only lost a little bit of money. Just need to sell my two tents, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, cooking stuff, poles and few other bits and pieces now. I think it's a good decision not to keep all this stuff - I already feel its far too much stuff to be lugging around in the hope I might get some use out of it. For dinner I made my famous pastry-less quiche and this time added some Chilean salami to give it a bit of extra kick. Still no Internet here so I am starting to worry a little about how I am going to sell all my stuff in a few short days.
