I had a really good sleep lastnight and didn't wake up once even with 20 people trudging through the house at all hours. I said my goodbyes around lunch time and walked out to the highway to attempt to Hitchhike back to Punta Arenas. After about 30 freezing minutes a lovely old Chilean couple pulled over and offered me a ride. they were so lovely and drove incredibly slow showing me all the different sites, towns and tourist sites on the way back to Punta Arenas. They even fed me gave me water and showed concern - a truly wonderful experience - I like this hitchiking thing. It was good to arrive back at Fernando's and Mauricio's house and they had to new Couchsurfers staying aswell. They were all headed out to a BBQ but I was incredibly tired so stayed in showered and got some sleep.
