Heya! Not much doing here, monday over at last! Mondays aren't too good in Africa either. There was much excitement at school today because someone had the lion king 2, the kids went crazy. Teaching is fie, they are crazy for the game 'hangman' (guess the word) and they could spend all day doing it. I had a rather frutstrating time last week trying to teachem them about adjectives (it was in the syllabus) and they just didn;t really get it! I tried to get them to describe a picture of an elephant, but no joy. The lesson went a bit like this; me - this is an elephant, what does it look like? them - teacher jennifa, it's an elephant. I gave up in the end. I will try again this week. Spent the weekend in Kumasi. Friday night went up to Bebu, it was Michelles (New Zealand) last night and she was having a small party. After all the people had gone we made ourselves some dinner - pasta in tomato sauce and chicken that michelle had bought. Possibly the best meal I have had here! On Saturday morning we got up early and said goodbye to Michelle at the bus station then went to the cultural centre and had a look at some of the craft shops. Then went to the market afterwards-a very crzy and hectic place that I will not be rushing back to! On Sunday we went to the golf club - my host works there and he invvited us along to a competition thing. It was good fun with free food and drink. A new girl arrived - Georgina from Manchester. She is 22 and an archeology student. She's quite quiet and doesn;t ask many questions which is quite frustrayting. Me, Birte and Cecilia wish she would speak a bit more. If I was here coming into a group of people that have been here for a while I would be asking soooooo many questions. Not much else to report - going to extend my visa this week, going to Accra next weekend with Cecilia. Nothing else to say so I won't ramble on much more. And I have been told by a certain brother of mine that my entries are too long! Byeee!!!!!!! Miss you all! Jen x
