Christchurch, you only have me for one last weekend - show me what you've got!
So, the major recent events of my life:
1. A nice English gentleman by the name of Wilson made me and his gf YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS! Yes, all of you in the UK are having them every weekend, but for me over here this is what I'd call a treat!! They were amazing, not burnt nor too crispy! With stew from a tin- phoarrr it was good!
2. A beautiful lady by the name of Jeanette has joined me in my bus - I have to say getting drunk and thinking that 1am was the ideal time to put up the Christmas tree and decorations really couldn't have gone any better! I'm sorry hostel stayers for the amount of noise and laughing we were doing, but we're on holiday too :-)
3. I am no longer a sushi virgin :-)
4. Brunch with Eleanor and Vaea went down a treat! And I'm proud to say that Eleanor and I were a good team when it came to paying :-) Vaeaaaaa you will be defeated from now on!
5. "Jacob takes his shirt off in the first 2 minutes"-Jodie Tucker.... AND YES HE DOES!
6. Milos Subtonocic - my hero! So let me tell you a little about this gentleman. Firstly, he is 83 years old, secondly he stayed at the backpackers and thirdly he is travelling NZ like everyone else. If I have travelling at the age of 83 to look forward to I can't wait to get old baby! This gentleman was amazing, he has travelled for a few months every year for the past 12 years to different parts of the world. Then I go on to find out that he also writes about his travels so that when his grandchildren grow up they can read about his life and his views of the world! Buuttt... I gooo on to find that he gets the books published so I can read them too!!! I'll have to wait for the NZ one to come out because I'm in it, he told me!
7. I got a new tattoo :-)
8. I got to talk to the ladies of the Peterson residence! And I mucho loved it! Can't wait to come back for Christmas, I'm quite excited about doing the dishes! See ya soon Mama Trin, Bailey and Ella.
9.Just finished reading a beautiful book called 'The memory keepers daughter'- Kim Edwards and I can't find another good book amongst the shelves of books here - it doesn't help that half of them are Japanese!
10. Jodie Tucker will be here soon so I shall have to love you and leave you!
Keep safe, save water and smile because it's only 17 days till Christmas!
