Firstly, I am sending my love to all the families of the people caught in the Hot Air Balloon Diaster on the 7th January. I'm sad to say I was driving close by the site just as the ambulances were arriving.
My 'Goodbyes' have been said in Carterton, I spent my last day with Bailey planking stuff and Papa Vaea in the bus and I am now in Ruakaka with the pretty sweet as Webb Family. This past week or so has been spent between Ruakaka and Auckland with mostly Caitlin (some American diabetic girl with a moustache), James and Daivd :-)
Which leads to the moustche story and my first Burger Fuel experience. So one day me and Cat were wearing fake moustaches, just for fun, you know how it is. We had comments such as "Nice moustache" and "Hahaha" (someone laughing). On the entering of Burger fuel people were staring and the staff on break made sure all the other staff saw us, few points few laughs and then the thinking face came *stroking our moustaches* - too much fun. And on exiting Burger Fuel I was introduced to a burger holder called a 'doofer'. Best invention ever, and I can't believe it wasn't founded in America. So yeah, doofers are cool as. Final say on the moustache, whilst walking through the street on Birkenhead me and Cat made a lot of people smile and that made us very happy :-D
Whilst the rest of my week has been very relaxed I have made my way through the three books of the 'The Hunger Games' trilogy by Suzanne Collins and managed to watch the whole of The Big Bang Theory season 4, which by the way, I'm not happy how it ended and am now desperately in need of season 5. There was also an attempt at James' world map puzzle, which only took us about 3 hours to do to find there was a puzzle piece missing, you can't even start to understand my frustration. Urgh. I have skyped a few people: Dave Davesdil, Toby, Nikki the Greatest, Carli, my rents, Finlee, Chris and little speaks with a drunk little Jess :-)
Coming to the end of my little update, now Cat has flown back to Chicago and it's snowing there HAHA!! I am back here in Ruakaka enjoying the sunshine, sweet company and beach walks. I have no current plans to go and do anything- but starting to live up to the 'Yes' women.
