Its official. I despise reclining seats. It's a great idea in theory but in reality is ridiculous.

The worse reclining seats I have come across In my 25years are aboard the greyhound buses in Australia. The only thing worse than them are the people who insist on putting there seat as far back as it will go as soon as they board, without even trying to sleep with it even just slightly reclined.

As you can probably guess I am currently aboard a greyhound bus with a fellow passenger basically lying on my lap, I'm not joking I can actually see her face upside down without getting out of my seat. I can't really get out of my seat anyway Without losing about 4stone and slithering between my armrest and her seat.

I'm sticking to my beliefs and not reclining my seat onto the lap of the guy behind me, at least he will get some sleep and still be able to feel his legs.

Tired and uncomfortable, but hey! That's what overnight bus journeys are, all part of the experience.
