G'day from Airlie beach! Our last day here today so we checked out of the hostel and headed down to the lagoon, weather beautiful again! I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but down under there are BBQs in parks etc for people to use, they are free and really great so today we've decided to make use! Grabbed some supplies from the supermarket and got cooking between the lagoon and the harbour. Perfect! Just laying at the pool now waiting for my burger ...

Woke up feeling surprisingly well! Checked outside the window and blue skies, yay! We all have literally no clean clothes left so had no choice but to make a visit to the laundry room before heading to the lagoon again for a relaxing day of swimming and sunbathing. You can't really swim off the beach here due to jelly fish, sharks and crocodiles but the lagoon more than makes up for it, so much space and a huge lagoon that hasn't been crowded at all. Well I have made it to 25! It was a great birthday present to step off the coach this morning and feel the heat of Airlie beach! Beautiful blue skies! Headed to the hostel to drop off our stuff but couldn't check in til midday so headed down the esplanade for some cooke brekkie and then hit the travel agents to book a sailing trip around the whitsundays on wednesday.
