By 9 am today we had a car delivered to our campsite. We got ready and headed out to Badlands National Park. It turns out that we drove 661 miles yesterday after stopping in Blue Heron service plaza. The drive was long but we took plenty of rest stops and were rewarded with a great place to stop for the night and a shorter drive today. We were on the road about 16 hrs. and 5 of them were in breaks. We had an easy 466 miles today. We slept in until 8, (even though Kati reminded us that is not sleeping in).
