When we are just parked for the night anywhere. In RV terminology is referred to as boondocking. I prefer to drive off as soon as I wake up and put some miles behind before the day begins. It's a habit we formed early on when we traveled with the kids. This would allow us to make some uninterrupted progress on the trip and perhaps get to the day's destination sooner rather than later.
I woke up early and took off driving before sun rise. Gil did not even see where we actually spent the night. I did wake him up to bring in the slide out and take care of the bpap machine. While he did that I logged on and made a reservation at the RV park for 2 nights. He came up front with the blanket and I drove off. We stopped about 70 miles later at a rest area where we took a break and made breakfast.
Our stops were usual, gas and lunch and another break later on. After 428 miles we arrived in East St Louis at 4PM CST/5PM EST. We got all set up in the RV park, got ourselves ready and then went for dinner to Old Spaghetti Factory in St, Louis. I took this picture on the way out to dinner.
