ED PART2!!!

apologies to you all for the late update of this blog, we have been having such a great time travelling and adventuring  that the blog has taken a back seat lately! Sorry guys! But here you are :-)

Well loyal bloggers as you may all know we are officially at day 2 of our adventures in Bled Slovenia and so what do two crazy Aussie travellers do on a toasty 30degree day in Bled... They go on a 5 hour hike of course!!!
So after putting on our trusty Dunlop Volleys along with a good tshirt, shorts and suncreen (haha just as our mums told us)  we headed to the local supermarket to get some supplies for our day of exploring :-) So with our backpack filled with lunch and drinks we were off to Vintigar National Park (look it up guys for full jealousy overload, it's beautiful) Vintigar National Park is a few Kilometers outside of bled so it's was a treacherous 5hour hike ahead of us! When we did arrive at the park we were overwhealmed (not only but lots of sweat haha) but by the amazing beauty if this place. The only way to describe it is an oasis of emerald walls with a crystal clear lake running straight through the center, just increbible. The walking paths were actually bridges that ran only the side of the valley hugging the rock wall so you were walking over it and through it at the same time :-) The water was so clear you could see all the freshwater trout swimming up stream! So close to the surface just waiting to be caught and become lunch! But our delicious home made rolls did the trick jut fine :-) Vintigar really is unspoiled and an amazing place to experience, these two travellors had a picked their hikig destination well! But with all that sunshine some swimmig had to be enjoyed!! So off we went back to Bled with our bathers ready for a swim in the famous Emerald lake of Bled:-)

Down at the lake they had a great set up of Slides, wading pools, day beds, diving boards and floating platforms for the public to use so how could we say no to that in such heat! So with a massive dive-bomb-bellyflop haha Chloe jumped into the clean fresh (and somewhat chilly) water and Adam the woss followed, using the stairs of course haha. The swim was great and the lazy sunbaking that followed was blissssssssssss! hey no judging the laziness you hear!!! You try walking all over Europe!!! Lol So after an amazing day, a great hike and some crazy photos of these two travellors jumping off the platforms intthe lake it was time to head back to the room with some takeaway Chinese to complete a perfect lazy afternoon :-)
