We got woken up during the night by one of the girls in our dorm. She started shouting in her Dutch language and jumped out of bed screaming. Then she threw her pillow on the floor! It was very strange and funny, she was sleep walking! She woke up confused and Chris asked her of she was alright? She started laughing and said she dreamt there was a snake on her pillow! Lol. 

We had to check out this morning and catch the ferry back to Townsville by 11am. It only took half hour to get across so we arrived in Townsville early and had to wait around in the terminal until 2:20pm when our grey hound bus would arrive! It was very boring and uncomfortable. I walked outside to see if there was anywhere to sit on the grass or a coffee shop to wait in but there was nothing but main roads. We found some hard seats and Chris wrote some of his diary while I carried on with my blogg. The time went slowly so we started playing Angry Birds and ate some lunch. Finally the bus arrived on time and we got on.

Five and a half hours later we arrived in Cairns. It was 8pm so it was dark by then. We had already booked accommodation but had no idea which way to go to get there. We were tired so caught a taxi instead of lugging our bags around the streets. It was a good job we did as our hostel was 3km away! We booked it because it was so cheap for a private room but we didn't realise how far away from the city centre it would be. It was called the Bohemia Resort Cairns and we booked for three nights. 

When we arrived the reception was closed so we rang the night manager, he gave us the safe code and said our keys should be in a box on the outside wall. Chris tapped in the code and opened the box, they weren't in there so he had to come down and let us in. 

Our room was basically a large family room with three beds in it and a sink, but shared bathroom. I went to use the toilet outside in the corridor but it was completely blocked with toilet paper! So I had to go and find another one at the end of the corridor.

We decided to go out and get a pizza for dinner, we walked down the road until we found a place and bought a large meat feast, it was only the size of a medium one back at home though. We got back to our room and put a film on the iPad while demolishing our pizza. Chris kept going on how great Anchorman is so we chose to watch that. I have fallen to sleep everytime I have gone to watch it, but this time it was Chris who fell asleep! I managed to watch it all this time and yeah I guess I can say it's pretty good. Oh and now I know where Chris and his mates get their silly quotes from!
