We actually made it up in time for our free breakfast this morning at 7am, then we waddled back to bed. It's our last lazy day before diving and working as a hosties on the Great Barrier Reef tomorrow! We're both really excited about it, hopefully it won't feel too much like work.
Chris couldn't really sleep when we went back to bed so he played his war game on the iPad. He said I grunted like a piggy and woke myself up later, I wondered why he was laughing at me!
Today we did absolutely nothing, we sorted out what we are taking on the dive boat tomorrow then laid in the sun for the day. By twelve we had lunch, well, what we had left that was edible that is! The salad had bloody frozen in the fridge and Chris thought it would just defrost and be fresh again. Well it didn't, it went all soggy and disgusting. So all we had left was tuna, sweet corn and cheese. I had an excellent idea to put it in the microwave and it worked out really well! It was like a tuna melt without the bread.
We sunbathed for the rest of the afternoon, then had dinner and used the internet. We found out that the rugby was on a little later then there was another game on during the night! Obviously Chris was really excited, especially as he was bored sunbathing all day. We watched the first game in the tv room at 7:30pm, it was Australia v Wales. Australia won and it was a really good game. Chris said he wanted Wales to win though.
Chris was excited about the second game tonight, England were playing! It wasn't on until 1am though so he set an alarm so he could go to sleep and wake up for it. I remember hearing the alarm go off and him sneaking out of the room. Then just as I was nodding back off to sleep, he was back in the room again! He looked pissed off, I asked what was wrong and he said the staff had locked the tv room even though they told him they would leave it open for him. He got back into bed grumbling lol.
