Chris woke up at 8:30am this morning for breakfast but didn't want to get up yet, he felt like s*** so went back to sleep. We both ended up sleeping in until midday, the latest we had slept in for a long time! We had a bowl of corn flakes and a glass of milk each to make ourselves feel normal again. I must of still been drunk because I said we should get up and go to the beach to meet the girls! Chris didn't want to though, he still felt very hungover.
We put some music on and vegged out until two when we finally dragged ourselves up out of bed. There was no drink in the room but we could smell alcohol in the air. It must of been coming out from our pores so we got showered. The toilet opposite our room was still blocked, I went in to use it and to my horror some one had either vomited or had diarrhoea and left a revolting mess in there! I instantly started to gag at the sight and smell of it, I literally had to run down to the other end of the hall way to the nearest toilet. I threw myself over the bowl and only just made it by a second. It was so nasty, I don't think I'll be able to forget that image for some time and I feel so bad for the person who has to clean it up, that's if they ever clean it up. I mean no one has been round yet to unblock it! I asked Chris if he left the mess in there last night, he swears it wasn't him so I believe him.
We were still feeling a little worse for wear so we took it easy and listened to some music and watched a film. Suddenly we had a knock at the door, it was the maid, she had come to restock our tea and coffee. She saw how hungover we were then apologised for the mess in the toilet. She also couldn't believe the state it was in and that the cleaner hadn't been round to clean it. She didn't have to say it but I could see in her eyes she was pointing the finger at us! And why not? We had been drinking all night and were opposite it! I quickly assured her it wasn't either of us and it had been like that since we arrived! She apologised again then left our room.
Our hangover was well and truly gone by 5:30pm and we were ready to eat dinner! Chris asked what I fancied, I said I really wanted a curry so we walked to a Indian restaurant. It was expensive but I was set on getting one. Chris really wanted one too but was more concerned about the price.
We sat down and got four popadums which were tiny! Not like the big ones back at home, a garlic nan bread, lamb cormer, beef kadiho? And a rice to share, it was really nice but cost $39! The drinks were expensive too so we opted for tap water instead which was free.
On our way back we gave the girls a call. They were going back to England tomorrow so we arranged to meet them on the water front tonight to say good bye. We didn't really want to walk down but we wanted to see them. We laughed at our drunken photos from last night, half of them we couldn't remember taking! Blonde Emma said they had never woken up drunk in the morning before! Ah well it was worth it!
We said good bye then headed back to ours. We must have covered over twenty kilometres in the last two days! I wouldn't even cover that much distance on a treadmill down the gym!
