Day 33
Today was the trip with the International Office. Our first stop was at the Askeaton Firiary. It was a ruined friary and I got a lot of really cool pictures of the inside and other sections of i. The monks who had lived ther had gotton attacked and many were killed. It has a really neat history, and if you google it you can learn more about it. There were quite a few graves of people who had been buried either inside the friary or just outside it too. Of course, me being my Mother's daughter, I found that interesting. After the firiary we headed to the Foynes Flying Boat museum. I wish we had had more time to read all the information and look around but we had to catch the ferry in time to make it to our last stop. One cool thing about Foynes (besides its really fascinating history) was that we got to tour a replica of one of the planes. It wasreally interesting to see all the differences between these "flying boats" and todays modern airplanes. After Foynes, we hopped on a ferry and were suppossed to go on a dolphin watch but the weather was not co-operating so they decided to use Plan B which was Aillwee Cave. Since I've already been I just chilled out with Jill, Lisa and Jamie in the cafe unitl it was time to go. Thats really about all that happened today though. Until next time...
