Had my first American Lit tutorial today and that was interesting! He (the teacher) asked us to write down what we thought of when we hears the words "colonial america" and then what we thought of when we heard/thought about modern day america. There were only four Amercans in the class ans the others were Spanish, German, and Irish. Talk about a trap! We baseically stayed quiet and didn't say much. It was a little awkward, lol. Oh, I don't think I wrote about what happened to in that class yesterday either. He was telling is about Pocahontas and showed us the movie "The New World" and ended up telling us the she married John Smith. In reality she marrid John Rolfe, but he totally told the class the disney/hollywood version of the story! It was very amusing :-) In other news, I attempted to find those gym classes again and was informed that the place doesn't exist. I'm thinking that wherever they are is called something else other then the names/abbrev. I have. I e-mailed the instructor and she still hasn't gotton back to me so I guess I'll just have to wait until I hear back from her now. Until next time...
