Galway is so cool! Granted it's the first place I've been to in Ireland so far other then Limerick, but I loved it today. I didn't/don't really mind the hostel either. It's clean, safe, and I'm rooming with the girls from Warbler to I feel comfortable there too which is nice. We were able to drop off our things at the hostel before setting out to explore so that was nice too. Jill and I arranged to meet up with Erin, who is a St. Rose student studying aborad at the University of Galway this semester. She showed us around town and we saw Eyre (sp?) Square, this beautiful church, the Spanish Arch (which was not as excting as I thought it would be) and we walked the alond the river too. I got some really nice pictures of Jill, Jamie and I and of the city in general. My favorite part though was the shopping!! I got some amazing gifts that I would love to mention but the people I got them for will be reading this so I can't. But trust me, they are going to love what I got them! So that really made me happy :-) There were so many great places to shop, so if I don't find all the things I'm looking for at the other paces I go, I know where to head back to. All in all the day consisted of sight-seeing, more picture taking then deemed humanly possible and some fantastic shopping! What could possibly be better? Tomorrow it's off to the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Right now though it's time to rest up. Until next time...
