REVEALING THE SECRET!

This is our house, located in Shark's Hole, St. Philip, on the South East of Barbados. Approximately 50 m distance to the sea, with a BIG BIG BIG garden around and a very sophisticated neighbourhood. The best of all is the lime tree in the backyard, which is very important for making Cuba Libre haha;)

For now, we only can show you outside pictures, but next week we will make some from inside, and I tell you, this house is really BIG with lots of rooms (4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 large kitchen with dining and living room attached, another TV-room, laundry room, one nice inner patio with a wide glass window to the TV-room, where we will put many plants (we would say "Wintergarten" but since there is no winter here......haha).

All in all - not only for this price - it is the perfect house for us! Melina can have her dog(s), Bernd can have 5 cars if he wants *LOL*, and I have my big kitchen to cook some fine Bajan, Austrian, Asian or whatever food ;)

The house is big enough to accomodate 4 guests, so we hope that all the people who promised to visit us will really come here!

So, now we have a house. Whatelse is lacking? Of course, a car. We are working on it, but this is quite difficult since cars are very expensive here and the cheaper ones are either completely junk or sold after 1 hour the ads appeared in the Nation News....but we will find one.

Regarding my work permit it looks very good now that I will have it stamped until the end of next week. It is really difficult and few days ago the immigration told me that they need some additional documents which I now try to get.....very difficult from here, not being in Austria......but we will do it and we are still optimistic that everything will work out for us.

Living in Barbados at the moment for us means not vacation, what probably many of you suppose, it means work. But we knew this before and we didn´t come over here to spend holidays here, no, we want to live here and this is what we still want to do. And we will do it!!!!!!!
