As I promised you yesterday, we went to the beach (it's name was Drill Hall Beach) with much too much eating stuff in the car for having a relaxed breakfast with our friends from The Living Room community. Kay and Ashley also were there and it was a very very nice coming together (and I - Bernd - had to say "see you next year" when we left; not funny at all)!
Now it was time to move some few hundred meters to Accra Beach (what else!) to intensify our tan... I tried a "new" method: exposing to the sun completely without any sunscreen for about 15 minutes and not till then put it on the skin...think, it worked quite good - considering it was the first try...ouch! The outcoming was a mixture between red, red and brown... But in a few days it should look almost as it was my intention to do...
After me getting a slightly lobster-like look, I had the idea to visit OUR new home beach which we already "knew" from Google Earth. The girls agreed and so our Mitsubishi took us to the driveway of OUR house. From there we walked the way I specified and reached a area that almost looked like it was untouched (just look at the photos, I can't describe it all because I'm tired again...*gg*) and leaded us to OUR home beach. This was so great, I just didn't want to leave. But great challenges - keyword "container" - will await me in Austria and Germany - so I had to! And I'm sure I will come back!!! Yeah!
We also strolled around in our new neighborhood to have a look at these more than beautiful houses and gardens and to listen to this unbelievable peaceful absence of noise! You just can't tell it with words - just the sea, throwing its neverending waves against the distant rocks, the omnipresent crickets doing their songs and nothing else. It's so recreative (we hope this will remain the way it is now!).
My girls became hungry while "running" around, so on our way back to Villa Marie we stopped at one of the millions of Cheffette restaurants on this island and got some chicken and potato stuff for them to fill their bellies.
Back at home, I disovered the whole dimension of my tan-experiment. Putting on some ice packs and after sun lotion eased the pain of the most affected areas... But, haha: Today, I almost overtook Belinda in being tanned!!! Strike!!! Yes! Yes! ....
On my duty list for tomorrow: Getting the engine hood of the car shut properly - it doesn't do this right now(!).., doing many phone calls to all my potential new companies - they are all so lazy in answering emails..., and many more.
So: Don't forget to come back again and read what happens here!
P.S.: One serious word to my friend Hacki: Don't be mad about me, there really are not more real beach babes than I photographed and posted here for you! I swear to god...! Chhrpffrt...!
