Well today we drove all of 31km to the seaside town of Kingston SE. We had heard there was a good 24 hour free camp opposite the beach and jetty with a great fish and chip shop right in front of the jetty.
We chilled out this morning before leaving our beach farm stay at Wright's Bay around 2pm, knowing we were only moving up the road.
After a feast of locally caught butter fish, scallops, prawns and calamari we felt ready for a glass of wine in the sun. Aaahhh, this traveling can be hard work sometimes!
Whiled the afternoon away chatting to our neighbors - we've found there is always something to learn about how other people travel, as well as their tips on where is great to visit and camp.
Cooked peri peri marinated chicken drumsticks with grilled eggplant, zucchini and pumpkin on the weber - yum!
Watched another amazing sunset and sat outside to eat as the light faded away and it got a bit too chilly.
Time for a hot drink and some dessert in front of the TV before a shower and bed.
Must sit with the maps in the morning and work out where to next, but first I can hear my bed calling me...
