Today we decided to use our bonus hop on hop off bus tickets.....probably not our best idea! Because you tend to be focused on finding whatever attraction you are after you can miss the other things around you, so going on the bus seemed like a good idea to get a general feel for the city. But the traffic made it very slow and it took a long time to get nowhere fast. We decided it was much more efficient to just catch the train as we had been doing, (and it we were starting to feel the cold). We headed over to the Churchill War Rooms and Museum. The guys at the counter didn't seem impressed when we asked if we would find a Dalek who could make us a cup of tea. It was and excellent museum and we learned a lot about Winston Churchill that we didn't know. We then caught the train to 221b Baker St to the Sherlock Holmes Museum. A bit overpriced but it was on Samara's must do list. There were some really interesting things in the shop which I refrained from buying. We got back to our apartment early today - everyone seemed a lot less tired as it was a pretty easy day.
