So today I gathered around the giant tv in the main enterence of my universidad with both Americans and Ecuadorians and watched as the United States inaugurated our 44th president. but first.... I had my new Portuguese class. So if I havn´t mentioned it already I changed my portuguese class.. because apparantly I was signed up for portugues basico II but Ive never taken a portuguese class before so I wasn´t learning what I want to learn but now this class was like too easy but I think that after the first few chapters it will be just where I am. yay
then after the inaguaration I went to get some lunch then had archeology. It was just whatever because its just a bunch of introductory stuff. I wanna dig holes!!!!
I am talk to Jacquie now though and haha CANICHE.... At least I don´t have to deal with that in my classes.
I MISSS FATIMA THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually in Português we were pronouncing names and one of them was Fatima! heheheh OH and another one was Rute and thats totally pronounced like Hoochy!!! HAHHAHAHAHA Im naming my kid that.
But yea Salem State is a good time... it really hasnt hit me that I am not there but now that they had there first day I am realizing that I am not there. Like I am missing out on driving Jon up a wall and listening to Vamos a Ver say Vamos a Ver 9000 times a day, and fatii and all those other crazies! I even miss some of the students!!!
Oh I just remembered... I joined the SALSA club at school today!!! woohoo I am pumped... I wanted to join more clubs like they had tango, and some other like interesting clubs but here the clubs go for like three hours at a time and I just don´t think I´ll be able to fit that into my schedule when Service Learning starts. We (as an IES group) might also take salsa lessons in La Mariscal or somewhere in Quito.
ok my sis needs the comp chauu
