Today I had the rest of my classes. They were intersting.

Sooo remember that test for translation class that I had to take yesterday well I didn´t want to say this before just incase I didn´t pass buttttt I DID! So yea the test was to see if your spanish was strong enough to take the class... it consisted of grammar questions and choose the word that doesn´t belong type questions, ect. and a we also had to translate a paragraph into spanish that was kinda hard but I guess I did well on it. It was like really technical and stuff but I did my best. But anyway only ten of the 25ish people who came to class passed the test! Soo basically I am sooo smahhhht as Jacquie would say.

So I bought some of my books today... most of them are photocopies of a bunch of random things so they are pretty cheap. My sociology book cost 18 dollars.

Oh by the way Ecuadorians use american dollars and they have been since like 2000 or something but their old money is still in use but it has the same value. So when I talk about cost there is no exchange rate or anything. The only difference is that there is a 50 cent coin. They also use a lot of Sakajawea coins and stuff.

I ate an Ecuadorian empanada the other day.....totally different than my favorite Argentine ones but still pretty good. But seriously though not even close.

tonight there is a little welcoming fiesta for all the intercambios... I wasnt gunna go cuz it´s at 830 and full of americans butttt my whole group is going soo whatever. I have homework for anthropolgy to do before I go though. It´s just to read chapter one of the book which I started all ready. The book is very comprehensible which is good because this is the class with the teacher that talks like one of the hidden message people.

So in sociology today my teacher asked if I studied in another latin american country before... I don´t know why. Maybe it´s cuz I use silly words and a funny Argentinian accent but hey atleast I´m not being asked if I learned spanish in Spain. hehehehhehehehe just kiding I love the spanish accent.... :D ceceo!!!

Anyyyywayyys I don´t really have anything interesting to say about Ecuador today so I guess I will stop rambling

oh except this... I have been meaning to write this since like day one... jacquie especially willl LOVE this.... so you can ONLY find PIRATED movies here hahahahahah they have no real movie stores and my family has movies that are not in theaters yet in Ec. hahah maybe the movie solo dios sabe, só deus sabe came from an ecuadorian. LOL thought you would like that.

No puedo esperar para la clase del portugués mañana. Me alegre que sea la primera clase del día porque me pone en buen humor... o cómo se dice eso me da buen humor..no sé. Y la clase de traducción será intersante también. Una de mis amigas, Sarah, de IES está en la clase conmigo... ella fue aceptada también. Creo que voy a disfrutir mis clases de antropolgía, arqueologia, y sociologia. Los temas son super interesantes and los profesores son muy amigables.
