The last few days have been a blast! It's been about catching up, getting out into the city to see all the changes that have happened, and visit those places that I've missed since having left.

The 4th of July was great. Jorge and I called all the friends that I have met since coming, and we all met at a bar to watch Mexico play soccer against Chile. The game was a snore (no goals, a tie), but the company was great. I learned that my friend Edgar teaches classes when he's not designing houses, that Santiago finished his first book, and Perla is working in HR for one of the largest companies in Xalapa. Tavo has been dating for 3 months solid and seems really happy, and of course Juan Carlos is getting hitched in about a month. I got to meet his bride to be after at dinner. We went to one of my favorite taco restaurant where you can order by the KILO! Yummmm. Needless to say it was a great way to spend the 4th.

Lately, things have settled. I've been getting ready for Sarah's visit. She's heading in at 6AM tomorrow morning. I headed into the bus terminal to buy all of our tickets, but my debit card stopped working. I thought it was my PIN, but come to find out, the bank blocked my account "for my safety." Needless to say, I was FREAKING OUT. I thought I forgot my pin. And now, I've tried so many different numbers that I'm not even sure what the hell my pin is. Fun, fun, fun. So, after 3 calls to the bank I think it'll work, but I still am unsure about my pin. The odd thing is that I've traveled here off and on over the last 8 years, and this is the first time it's happened. It just seems odd to hit right now, not to mention that I can't be confident in my PIN. Sooooo stupid!

Well, it's about lunch time, so I should get to getting. Sarah will be here in less than 24 hours, and I can't wait! It should be fun.
