Today I was not up until 8.30am, which is the latest I have been able to sleep since I have been here. I want to sleep longer but I can't. I had Balinese soup which is called terong. It is a broth with peas and beans in it and it is now my favourite breakfast. I hope it is healthy and not too fattening lol! I then had to go to the Bounty hotel as I left my card in the machine! Silly me! They had already emptied the machine so they gave me the address of the bank that was safe keeping it for me in Denpasar. Nic, Lisa and I went and had brunch in a cafe and on the way there we had bracelets and rings made with our Australian $2 coins that have our names on them! They are beautiful and they made them on the spot so today I will go and get Liza, Alycia, and Maddie one too. Had one made for Nicola and I hope she likes it. They are very unique. I then hopped on my scooter and proceeded to ride into Denpasar to get my card otherwise I had no money! The ride there was amazing, busy and sooooo much fun. If I can ride in this city I am confident that I can now ride in the city of Melbourne. I think if I go home I will buy myself a bike it is so much quicker to get around. Not to mention way more fun than driving a boring car. When I got back I went and did some shopping for the first time buying Brad 2 Unit tops that he wanted, a Spiderbilt jumper and a Volcom belt. He will love them I am sure! I also brought myself a pair of the cutest 69 Slam knickers and camisole and another cute pair of Peter Frank PJ's. I also got a pair of white Havianas. No more for me now but I will get Brad some jeans, boxers and socks and perhaps another belt. I think tomorrow I will finally go and get myself my first tattoo, either my star sign or the Balinese symbol for good luck, wind, sea and fire. They pray to these God's and believe that it will bring good luck. I certainly feel lucky to be here. When I got home Wayan (Suri) had dinner waiting for me of Ayam (chicken) and rice which was tasty as always! However poor little Komang was very unwell, running a fever and feeling sick. So Murdi came home and took her to the hospital, as his company gives the whole family private health care. They weren't gone long (certainly not as long as we would wait in a hospital in Australia!), and came back with an absolute bounty of medicines etc. I hope she will be ok and originally they were under the impression that all the chocolate that she ate when I got here made her sick. I told them that it would not make her have a fever only make her feel sick in the stomach, and that it was over a week ago anyway. I am very tired today from all my riding and very brown now even though I apply 30spf every couple of hours. Being very careful in the sun! More tomorrow xx
