I was up at 5.30 today as I had an early night. So by 9am I was out of the house down to coffee shop for free wifi and to write this blog. The coffee here is insanely good. I then went for a big ride as I love riding and went sightseeing by myself. Went home for lunch and had rice with chicken (ayam) mmmmmm. Took my scooter back as I rented one for 3 days for $10, because I feel bad taking one of their scooters all the time. Then I and the family went to Nusa Dua in their car to the Peninsula resort to see what I had won in the competition. 7 nights for 2 adults and 2 kids any time within next 12 months so I will come back with Brad and live it up there it is very ritzy! They shouted us drinks and lunch and paid for our petrol out ther. It was so funny coz I had to keep telling Murdi to move up to 4th gear as he clearly was revving the gutz out of the motor. So I gave him a driving lesson as they use the hazard light as indicator to going STRAIGHT! What tha/ I explained what they are for and we all had a good laugh. He also thought the back passenger doors had broken, even though it is a new car but it was only the child locks were engaged. LOL. We all laughed again. When we got home I grabbed Kadek and took him out for dinner with Lisa and Nic to a western restaurant and we both had banana pancakes with vanilla ice-cream. He has had them before but he liked them very much. He is soooo shy and my friends and I just adore him, he is only 8months younger than Brad so I call him my Balinese son. He seems to like me and told his parents that if I had a daughter not a son he would make her his girlfriend if she is like me! Naaaaaaaw so cute! I love him to bits and so do all the girls! Snakes were being carried around by a couple of Balinese and we were both fascinated and terrified but I at least touched one but he wouldn't. I then sent him home on his scooter as me and the girls went out partying to Sky Bar 3 doors up from where Sari club used to be. The memorial is soooo beautiful but it is a very sobering experience, it really affected this country and they are ashamed that one of their own was responsible. More on that another 60 seconds. Back to partying- what a night! I took Karina with me as the girls stayed at hotel and partied so Karina and I went out with some boys from Wonthaggi, Liam, Liam and Adam. Funny boys and we all had an absolute ball. Got back to the hotel about 2am and it was still pumping as it has its own in house dj and pool bar . Aussies everywhere. Drunk as of course but funny as. Met Andrew from Creswick, Matty and Aarron from Reservoir and Dan from ? Can't remember. Three female coppers from I'm not sure where who, were stonkered and fighting, one of them had punched one of the other girls boyfriend out and it was ALL happening! Seems I missed it all as Nic and Lisa filled us in and introduced us to about a million people. Love Karina, she is from Pt Macquarie we had such a laugh at people on Magic Mushrooms as apparently they r legal here and EVERYWHERE sells them . Not for me though I just had a couple of cocktails and good convo and that was enough to keep me up all night. Went with Andrew down to Kuta beach to watch sunrise, go get coffee from Maccas as he had only arrived the night before and wanted see beach! We chatted heaps and a beautiful stray Labrador came up and sat on my feet so gorgeous made me cry as I miss my girls dreadfully. It seems me and the dog had a moment as he has nobody and neither do I. Took Andrew to see memorial once sun came up and then deposited him back to the hotel and got a scooter to take me home for $5 and rolled in much to my Balinese family's amusement at nearly 8am. Awesome night and made plenty of friends and can now say I've done the Balinese night life which rocks! Sooo tired now so more tomorrow people plenty of photos from last night to download so watch this space! OH I also had all my hair chopped off for $4 into a short just below the ear length blunt bob. Looks much better as it was driving me insane and I've decided long hair isn't for me!
