Travelling Millers 2
Day 36. A pleasant drive down to Alva Beach via a back road and only a few kilometers on the busy Bruce Highway. This is a lovely van park, living up to the recommendations of it from fellow GNs. On the drive down, Ros called. They were in Townsville and decided to join us for a few days here at Alva Beach. Luckily they could get in and we are parked together. The only problem with the site is its proximity to the dump point and prevailing winds in the wrong direction!
We took a long walk along the beach this afternoon and watched a group of windsurfers taking flight. Tonight we ate the last of our Karumba bream. Ros and Alex ate the last of their grunter from Karumba. Great to share a lovely meal with family in the open air.
