First of all Happy Birthday to me!! And also Happy Birthday to Baby Amy!! What a great name to choose Catherine!! I knew that 3rd time lucky you would get your girl!! So started the day off with helping dear Flicky pack up all her belongs!! Her parents arrived around 2pm and we were whisked off to the docs house for a huge lunch- hmmm I love curry!! I had a video camera in my face the whole day so I will try send it home!! The doc had ordered this huge huge yellow heart cake with red writing saying "Happy Birthday, Amy Tye, England- how noice!! I then had to light all 19 candles and cut the cake!! Hearts are very difficult shapes to cut!! It was so nice to meet Flickys parents at long last, they were such warm people!! They bought me some Andrex toilet roll , trashy magazines etc ..... but most importantly Alpro Soya yogurts!!!!!!!!!! I was gutted when Flicky left!! I always knew she'd leave after 6 weeks, but it just feels so empty without her!! The nurses cheered me up no end with then a nice Indian dance (in secret in the X-ray room) I might add!! Then it was off to delivery !! Yet another baby boy arrived at around half 4 in the afternoon!! Another successful delivery for the budding midwife!!
