Hello everyone, Apologies for the shocking lack of entries, but due to food poisoning , everything has been a bit dull as havn't had the energy to do anything!! Anyways, so swe went to Varkala for the weekend-, our 7 hours journey turned into ten and a half hour bus ride!! So when we arrived it was about half ten, just in time for a late dinner, only to be food poisoned- outrageous!! So on the Saturday I decided to for an Indian Massage, a very amusing experience indeed! Still it was a very way to spend an hour !! I even had a boiling hot shower, first in a month and a half!! Then we went out for dinner, but just had cocktails!! We met some rather interesting people from Italy and Austrailia!! Then it was Jack Johnson until 3 am ! So then it was a 9 hour journey back to Ambi! I was very cross to discover that I missed 7 births including a twin delivery! Did you know that if the twins are same sex then they are more likely to share a placenta!! If they are different sexes then it is more likely that there will be two!! How interesting!! On Monday, there was another c -section bringing my number of births to 18!! It was a long c-section and there seemed to be more bleeding than before!! Sorry to be gory, but the blood splashed the doc all done her front!! Unfortunately the docs assistant was unable to help with restitching , so one of the nurses had to assist her!! Mandula (the most lovely person ever) assisted her for the first time, unfortunately she kept dropping everything on the floor , so we were running out of instrument to stich up the lady!! Then the doc opened up a needle- and it snapped due to faulty manufacture!! Our doc says there is nothing to do apart from laugh in these situations! She says you must always encourage your staff- but you shoulkd have seen the dirty looks she was giving sweet Mandula!!! There was a suspected still born last night and Flicky as asked to leave the room, so we are awaiting news this morning!! Luckily for me I wasnt there, due to this bug!! I m really pleased though that the doc wont allow uis to be present if the baby is unhealthy!! ummmmm in other news not much to report!! My birthday post keeps arriving and my doc keeps locking it away!! Felicity leaves for travelling tomorrow, will b avery sad day for us, but we will be going to Birmingham so not all is lost!! Am sure it will be nice to have a break from same company for both of us - as 24/7 can make things quite intense!! But she is a great girl and I will miss her very much!! Will be odd living alone, but I shall clutter up the place with my junk to make it feel less empty!! Iam so hungry I havn't eaten in 36 hours- appparently its the only way to cure food poisoning!! If they put me on a drip I will vbe most annoyed!! anyway impatiently awaiting the arrival of Catherines baby!! I really think it will arrive today and will weigh around 8 pounds!!
