Hey.
I hope you're all well.
Summary: Settling back into being in Beira this week has had its ups and downs, but it feels good to be back. The best bit of the week was yesterday, me and Rach went to the cinema to see Knocked Up (Jenni has already seen it and didn't want to see it again), which we really enjoyed. It was really nice to just have a nice out, and the film was funny! It was also good to get back to Manga and see our friends there and at Oasis. The worst bit i guess was the few days settling back in, Beira not seeming quite so exciting after beautiful beaches and diving! And i think she three of us all felt that and it showed itself in us being a bit short with eachother!!
Not so summary: It was good going back to Oasis on Wednesday, particularly nice to see all our friends there, especially Marina, but it was really sad with Mesa not being there.
On Friday we didn't manage to get to Manga because it rained too much! So we spent the day around Beira getting bits and bobs done. It was a disappointment not to be able to go! On Friday nioght we really enjoyed going over to Marina's and making brownies! Although we didn't quite cook them enough so they were very gooey. But still, it was still exciting to get brownies!
Saturday was the Kid's Club - we made paper doll chains, which the kids really enjoyed and thought we amazing! It kept them amused for about an hour! Then on Saturday afternoon we had a good team time, it was nice to get some stuff out in the open and so on.
Church on Sunday went on for nearly 4 hours!! Which is quite the record! Sunday evening was fun, we had a bit of a bonding session singing power ballads very loudly because the family weren't in!!
Then, as i already said, yesterday me and Rach went to see Knocked Up, which was fun.
It's been a pretty good week in general, although as a team it hasn't been the best week. I think we're all just getting a bit sick of eachother and being in eachother's space! But time is going really quickly, i can't believe that another week has gone already - it feels like i'll be home before i know it!
Thanks, as ever, for e-mails and post (Sue and Steve, Tilly and Hass! Although i know i'm waiting on some more :) ), i feel very loved and supported by you guys!
Love Sar xx
