Hello :)
This is only the e-mail that i prob sent you, so it's not that exciting, but still. I might start using this instead of e-mailing, we'll see. I'll update it better (maybe even with photos!) next time.

Hello all
I guess i don't really have that much so say this week - but i just thuoght i'd send a quick e-mail to let you know that i'm alive and happy!
Summary for if you can't be bothered to read The Rest:
It's been a good week. I had a good birthday. We finished orientation, so will start doing "work" now! We washed a lot of knickers. We went to two kids clubs that were really fun!
The Rest:
Last week - we finished orientation, which is good - we can get stuck into stuff a bit more now! (Haha - i say that - but we're not working today because there's a funeral in the church that we work at so we've got a day off).
But anyway - we went out for a lovely chinese (pretty much the only restaurant in town!) for my birthday on thursday which was really nice. I didn't feel like my birthday, but it was a good day!
And we went to visit a kids club to see the kind of work that oasis do with kids. It was so good! And we also went to the kids club at our own church on saturday which was good. They've just signed up for oasis training, so that should get better and better as time goes on!
The work that oasis do is amazing. The do loads of stuff that i couldn't do justice explaining! But it's community/church development and work with youth/kids. The really good thing about it is that it's sustainable - the "westerners" are training up their deparments of Mozambiquans to continue the work when they go. It's so good!
Anyway. Me and Rachel washed 30 pairs of knickers today, in buckets of cold water - it was definatly a bonding experience! We now have loads of knickers strewn around our room to dry.
As you can tell, i don't really have much news this week, so i might leave it there!
Lots of love :)
