We got up the morning and walked up to the station to catch the train down to the villages in the Cinque Terra. The train ticket allowed us to get on and off at various stations along the route and so we explored the villages, climbed slopes, eat ice cream and had a good time over all. It is possible to walk between the villages and the walk takes 2 hours in total, however with the two little ones and the budget to watch out for we decided not to, as the cost of entering the national park would have increased the spend overall.

Having returned from the Cinque Terra we went for a swim in the sea again and the children came in a little further with David. It was a good visit along the coast and we were ready for the next day.
